Consistent with our values of ‘Improvement and Innovation’, we have developed the ‘Systa’ suite of software tools to aid the process of developing electrical architectures. Beginning with the capture of the baseline product requirements we create a ‘data backbone’ of information that can be used throughout the organisation, guaranteeing consistency. Specialised tools then aid the development of distributed features from basic functional architecture to detailed design.

As the architecture is designed ‘as a whole’, the interactions between systems can be maintained and monitored and function delivery plans generated to ensure those with the most feature ‘crossover’ are prioritised, thus allowing functional testing to be expedited and identification of bugs. Every piece of design data exists only once to prevent issues with ‘out-of-date’ copies.

Requirements Capture, Configuration Management, Version Control and Variants Management and Interactive Timing Plans are built-in. Systa was developed by systems engineers who understand the technical and bureaucratic challenges of developing modern, feature-rich, safety critical distributed electrical architectures.
